On Thursday March 8th, 2012, Primp Inexpensive Stylish Boutique teamed up with Wags & Whiskers to host their annual 'Spring Trunk Show'. Each year, the boutique partners with a local organisation that is close to their hearts and creates an event that solves 2 major issues for girls everywhere: looking fashionable and helping save the world!
This year, the women from Primp put their focus into helping ourfour-legged friendsfind a forever home.
Previously, the store had teamed up with Crave Cateringto help give little refreshments for the Trunk Show at its anomalous store in St. Paul. However once the favored boutique locked down its new digs at The Shops at West End the good people at Sopranos Kitchen wanted to join in as part of their nonstop 'Heart of Sopranos ' program they are implementing currently.
Members of both Sopranos Kitchen and Primp got together to create some light appetizers that would permit the female customers to taste some great Italian food without causing a mess or feeling encumbered by heavy fare (Who claims Italian food must be heavy). Sopranos Kitchen offered a pleasant salmon option, some light caprese skewers, and mini desserts that were a monster hit with the girls!
We always are looking for ways to connect with local enterprises and become better neighbours. The proven fact that we managed to continue an existing positive relationship while also helping a great cause?all while introducing our love for Italian cuisine to a new group of possible customers made this event really a win all around.
Special thanks to Executive Chef JP Samuelson, Wags & Hairs, and especially all the ladies at Primp for putting on a great event. We look forward to continuing our great relationship with them in future times.
