When Catering Minneapolis it's an continuing adventure that brings new clients and events to Crave on a day-to-day basis. On Feb 11th, 2012 Hunger for Catering was hired by Kari Warwick, owner of The Pleasure Life to cater a Valentine's Day Event for her customer Jessica Miller. Jessica Miller chose Uppercut Gymnasium as the place to have this indulgent event, and what an extraordinary location to choose!
The night was stuffed with phenomenal ambiance with many of Minneapolis ' best event organizers to make it happen including Jackie Reisenauer with Munster Rose, Trevor Pearson with Metro Ice Sculptures, Andrew Nygaard with AV for You (Lighting), Final Events (Rentals), Meghan Sitek "Meghan Lee Dexterity (Makeup for the Dancers), Mill Town Security and Drink alcohol Then drive Cleverly (DDI). Every single one of these corporations came together to make one event special happen wonderfully.
The night was stuffed with Go-Go Dancers, a sushi girl as a virtual human food platter, a DJ to keep the night moving, stages and boxing rings, impossible to believe lighting, interactive martini luge, top of the line hanging flower displays and an Interactive Asian Wok performed by CRAVE Catering's Executive Cook, Lance Hamlin.
As the party continued during the night, guests managed to come up to the CRAVE Catering buffet and start their meal with sushi from one of our traditional sushi boats or the not-so-traditional, but exciting human sushi platter (otherwise known as Nyotaimori). Guests then made their way down the buffet with Asian to-go boxes to pick Rice or Soba Noodles as the base for the items that were being made in front of them and placed on a Teppanyaki Grill.
These items included Sesame Chicken, Tempura Shrimp, Teriyaki Glaze Tofu, Mongolian Meat, and Teriyaki Chicken. As well as the Interactive Asian Wok, Hunger for Catering also served Cream Cheese Phyllo Rolls, Plant Egg Rolls, and Crab Rangoon's.
Each entity to this event was flawless and extraordinary. It went on without a hitch and guests enjoyed the exclusive pieces to this unique occasion.
